BMC brings home National Titles
17 & 18...
Bailey Mountain continues their ongoing national supremacy
winning their 17th & 18th national titles. They won
Overall Traditional Precision team with their Running Set
Precision routine, and also won the Overall Show team with
their excited Artistic Expression dance. Congratulations
BMC!
The 2010 Spring Concert titled
"No Boundaries"...
Bailey Mountain is preparing for it's annual Spring Concert
which will take place in Moore Auditorium between April 23 -
25. Shows will start at 7:00 pm on April 23th
& 24th, and at 2:30 pm on the 25th.
Ticket prices are $12 for general admission, $8 for senior
citizens, and $6 for children 5 - 10 years. This show
this year is entitled "No Boundaries". It is a
brand new show that will feature all styles of dance and of
course lot of entertainment from the National Champion Bailey
Mountain Cloggers. We hope to see you there!

Bailey Mountain welcomes new
members to their family...
We are very excited about the new incoming Freshman class
for the 2009-2010 year. Joining our team are Heather
Lynn Huckabee, Heather Boyd, Deanna Chatham, CJ Tate, Dustin
Barrett, Courtney Bell, Mary Bolster, Kayln Webb, Shana
Bolton, LeAnne Rector, Emma Claire Hoffman, Michael Crouse,
Laken Pilgrim, and Shanequa Dalton.
BMC Captures National Titles 15
& 16...
The Bailey Mountain Cloggers brought home number 15 &
16!!!! The team recently won two national titles at
the ACHF National Competition in Maggie Valley, NC.
They received Overall Traditional Precision Team with their
Running Set Precision, and Overall Contemporary Team with
their Open Line routine. Miranda Hucks and Blake
Sanders also brought home a National title with their
Overall Show Duet, and Tyler Mercereau won Overall Male
Soloist and Won the Overall Dance Off.
The team also brought home First Place in Standing Line,
Country Hoedown, Open Hoedown, Smooth, Acapella, Traditional
Line, Artistic Expression (Show), Running Set Precision, and
Open Line.
BMC will perform
Internationally...
The Bailey Mountain Cloggers have been invited to perform
in Spain. The team will be traveling to Palma de
Mallorca Spain in the Spring to participate in the World Folk
Festival.

Alumni Celebrate 35th Anniversay...
This year is the 35th anniversary of Bailey Mountain and we
would like all alumni to celebrate with the current team
during homecoming weekend. Saturday October 11, we will
begin by having class reunions/meetings in the clogging
studio from 10am-11am. We will be performing on
the quad beginning at 11am and will have a BBQ lunch at
BMC tables starting at 12pm. We invite all alumni, and
their families, to join us for an alumni performance as well
lunch following the show. The cost for the lunch and
registration will be $10 per person. We would
also like to encourage all alumni to view their
information on the alumni page and update it
accordingly in order to provide updates on future
events. If you are registered on the website please
encourage other classmates to join as well. During
homecoming we would like to elect BMC alumni officers to
help the team grow in as many areas as possible.
During your visit you will also have the opportunity to tour
the new buildings and facilities on campus. We also would
like to invite everyone to join all MHC alumni at Wild
Wings Friday night before homecoming for great food and a
BMC performance at 8:30 pm.
BMC starts the year off strong...
The Bailey Mountain Cloggers started their 2008 - 2009
campaign dancing in back-to-back competitions during the
weekends of August 29 & 30 and September 5 & 6.
BMC won Overall Grand Champion at both competitions.

The 2008 - 2009 college year has just begun. BMC
kicks off the new season under it's new leadership team which

class...
As every new year begins BMC welcomes a new group of
talented dancers into their clogging family. This year's
freshman class introduces 11 new members - one of the biggest
in the last few years. BMC would like to welcome Lee
Revis, Tyler Mercereau, Michael Holcombe, Emily Fox, Emily
Ayescue, Kaley Kite, Kaleigh Balken, Kirsten Young, Megan
Weaver, Brandy Reece, Holly McCormick to their team and
family.

BMC captures number 14...
BMC had an incredible weekend at the ACHF National
Championships in Maggie Valley, NC! They brought home
their 14th National Championship with their Smooth
routine. In addition they won numerous other awards
including Overall Traditional Precision and Overall Young
Adult team. Congratulations BMC!

On September 15, BMC competed in Hickory, NC at CCA's North
Carolina Clogging Challenge. The following weekend the
team competed at the Magic Feet Ultimate Challenge in
Thomasville, NC.

Bailey Mountain competed in their first competition for the
2007-2008 school year. On Saturday, September 8th, BMC
competed at the Mountain State Fair competition in Fletcher,
NC. They won 8 first places, 1 second place and an
overwhelming 7 Overall awards. Congratulations BMC!

National Championship...
Bailey Mountain traveled to Maggie Valley, NC on Saturday,
October 28th to compete in the ACHF National
Championships. BMC brought home their 13th National
